Hibiki Harmony Japanese Whisky 100th Anniversary Edition 750ml

This expression was created by the House of Suntory using a variety of single malt and grain whiskies from their distilleries, all of which had been matured for a minimum of 17 years. Inspired by the beauty of Japan's nature, Kacho Fugetsu roughly translates to flower, bird, breeze and lunar. The 24 faces of the bottle are there to represent the 24 seasons in the Japanese lunar character. Less than 1000 bottles of this stunning limited edition expression were produced.

The Hibiki 21 year old is pretty 'Hard To Find' these days due to the multitude of awards it has won. The nose is sweet and spicy like a box of orange peel and raisins scattered with ginger. This tastes smooth yet elegantly assertive, with spiced stewed plums and homemade vanilla ice cream. The finish is long, deep and complex.
